The Month That Was July

The Month That Was July

It is so quiet here.

We are back from vacation and school has just started.

Chaos no longer reigns supreme here at Thistlewood Farm.

*sigh*

And I think I kind of miss it :)

Because you were probably on vacation, too, I put together a month in review in case you missed anything.

So with very little fanfare and to a light smattering of applause……here is the month that was July :)

  1. I loved all of the posts. While everyone else was woohooing, I was one of those crazy mothers who hated for my daughters to go back to school.

    Hugs,
    laura

  2. My sons don’t go back for two more weeks and while I’m going to miss my oldest, I’m looking forward to having a little “:Law and Order”around here! (and no, there’s no “Criminal Intent”, I’m not talking about the TV Show…although, Chris North IS kinda dreamy). xo, Kimberly

  3. Oh the Love Story….that was my favorite…even though all the others were fantastic as always…but I am a romantic….I still cannot get that image out of my mind of you running to congratulate “your love”….running in a slow motion…like in the movies and then tackling “your love” in the middle of a military ceremony no less!!…True love!!…..Glad you had a great vacation and great summer…can’t believe the kids are already back in school!! Popping over to Kim’s to see your “favorite” room!

  4. Wow but July flew by in a hurry didn’t it? One of these years I hope it decides to hang around a little longer!!

  5. Good morning! Back in school? You poor dear but I can feel your pain/relief as the guys start back on Tuesday. Where did summer go? And I just want you to know that I love your recipe towels… in fact so much so that I ended up making my own! Yes Grandma Rose’s brownies and Aunt Dell’s Banana bread have now been immortalized in towel form!!

Have a great day! Enjoy your peace and quiet!!! :)

  6. I detest back-to-school. The craze of summer is more my style! We’re back in on Monday and the doldrums have already set in. Lots of great posts, Kari — you were a busy gal!

  8. I’m in August. You need to know at night when I lay my head on the pillow, the last thing I think of is your laundry room. Mine is over do for a makeover. As in it’s 20 years old and never had it’s first make – it went right to business. I’m contemplating. But your July was pretty good too.
